Requirements:

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• RN License – required to submit
• BSN – Not Required
• OR experience
• Scrubbing not required for RNs

Unit Details:

• Unit: Operating Room
• 11 OR suites; 6–7 staffed daily
• 15–30 cases/day
• Ratio: 1:1
• EMR: Cerner / SurgiNet
• Acute Care
• No floating
• 1 week OR orientation or until comfortable
• CSTs/OR Techs available
• Telemetry and vents
• RT and Pharmacy available 24/7

Cases:

• Orthopedic
• Neurology
• General Surgery
• All cases except transplants
• Dedicated CVOR and Trauma teams

Call Requirement:

• 3 weekday evening/night call shifts per 6-week schedule
• 3 weekend call shifts per 6-week schedule
• 30-minute call response time
• Holiday rotation with core staff

Other:

• Scrub color provided
• Use preference cards
• No floating
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment
• Every other weekend (EOW) flexibility required
• Call included in schedule
