Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. This is a dynamic opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality surgical nursing care to patients undergoing various procedures in the Operating Room. The role includes engaging with patients and their families, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring a safe and effective surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.
  • Implement and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as directed.
  • Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding post-operative care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts (or conditional license).
  • Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Current certification in NIH Stroke Scale (NHISS).
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexible to meet the demands of on-call responsibilities.

Shift Details

This position offers a Day shift schedule of 4x10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
