Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves day shifts of either 8 or 10 hours with on-call responsibilities.

Shift Notes

Day shifts - 8 or 10 hours
40-hour work week with call
Call every 4th or 5th weekend
Availability for holidays as needed or scheduled

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The Operating Room is classified as a Trauma Level III unit, and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in use is Cerner.

Qualifications

Must have circulating experience in the operating room
Scrub experience is highly preferred
Proficiency in the following procedures is required: General, OB, Orthopedics, ENT, Trauma, Plastics, and Ophthalmology
Previous travel nursing experience is preferred

Certification Requirements

Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

Must have a valid license to practice nursing in New Hampshire
Must have a personal vehicle for transportation
All requests for time off (RTO) must be noted during the submission process; no more than three days of RTO will be accepted
Must work during critical holiday periods, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, if scheduled
