Travel RN – Operating Room (OR)


Position: OR Registered Nurse
Shift: 08:30 AM – 07:00 PM
Schedule: 4×10-hour shifts
facility will accept 13–26 week contracts
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care and work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team.

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN License
  • At least 2 years of recent OR experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience
  • EPIC experience
  • Strong operating-room/perioperative nursing skills
  • Ability to work rotating shifts based on OR volume
  • Willingness to take rotating weekday and weekend call

Preferred Experience

  • Robotic surgery experience
  • Scrub nurse experience

Schedule & Call

  • 4×10-hour shifts
  • 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Schedule may be flexible based on OR volumes
  • Call based on department needs
  • Rotating weekday and weekend call
  • Holiday call rotates with regular staff

Floating

  • May occasionally float onsite within the RN's skill set
  • May rarely float to other sites within approximately 40 miles

  • ACLS, if required by the facility
  • 2 Professional References
  • Skills Checklist
  • Driver's License/Photo ID
  • RTO (Requested Time Off), if any
  • COVID/Flu documentation, if required
  • EPIC experience confirmation
  • Any additional facility-specific compliance documents

Key candidate profile: OR RN with 2+ years of OR experience, prior travel experience, EPIC experience, and willingness to take rotating call. Robotic and scrub experience are preferred.
