The Operating Room (OR) Nurse is a registered nurse practicing in a healthcare setting within the state of California. Job Details:
- Location: 5555 W Las Positas Blvd, Pleasanton, California, 94588
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, 1 year of operating room experience, ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an operating room setting and familiarity with surgical procedures and protocols.
- Additional Information: The OR Nurse is responsible for supporting surgical teams by managing patient care in sterile environments, assisting with medical instrumentation, and monitoring patient responses throughout procedures. The role requires rapid problem-solving skills, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with patients and staff. The position involves participating in team meetings, continuing education, and maintaining current licensure and certifications.
