- Hours Per Week: 36 hours total, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule: Day shift, with coverage patterns that may include every 3rd weekend, every other holiday, and one call per schedule period
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,530 - $2,660
- Unit Highlights: 24/7 Operating Room coverage with a broad range of surgical specialties
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of inpatient Operating Room experience
- Scrub experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
- Competency in at least 5 surgical service lines preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced perioperative and surgical environment
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing support in the Operating Room across a variety of surgical cases
- Assist with procedures in general, gynecologic, genitourinary, oral, otolaryngology, bariatric, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastic, podiatric, robotic, pediatric, trauma, and spine services
- Deliver safe, efficient scrub support and maintain readiness throughout surgical cases
- Adapt quickly to changing case volume and floating needs within surgical services
- Communicate clearly with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members
- Contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered surgical care environment
