• Duration: 14 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Schedule: Day/evening rotation with start times of 7:00 AM, 9:00 PM, and 11:00 PM as assigned
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,530 - $2,660
• On-Call: 1 call shift per schedule
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of inpatient Operating Room experience required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Scrub experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must be competent in at least 5 surgical service lines
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude
• Ability to adapt in a busy 24/7 surgical services environment
• Experience in neuro, vascular, or other specialty OR cases is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in the Operating Room across a variety of surgical cases
• Support surgical services including general, gynecologic, urologic, oral, ENT, bariatric, orthopedic, neurologic, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatric, trauma, and spine procedures
• Scrub and assist during procedures as needed
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and perioperative team members
• Maintain patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient room turnover
• Float to another OR unit if needed based on departmental needs
• Deliver excellent communication, teamwork, and professional bedside manner in a high-volume surgical setting
