Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team, specializing in Urology, Gynecology, Nephrology, and Transplant surgeries. The ideal candidate will be involved in various surgical procedures utilizing advanced technologies and robotic systems.

Shift Details

  • Type: Day Shift
  • Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (09:40 - 22:10)
  • Weekend Call Responsibility
  • Orientation: 2 weeks (08-hour shifts from 06:40 - 15:10) for 5 days

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including kidney transplant, hysterectomy, and nephrectomy.
  • Utilize robotic systems such as Davinci Xi for complex surgeries.
  • Perform urological and gynecological surgeries, including cystectomy, ureteroscopy, and laparoscopic procedures.
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License - pending Wisconsin license accepted with submission.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from AHA required.
  • Demonstrated experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, Kidney Transplant, Pancreas Transplant, and Robotic Surgery.
