Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) registered nurse position in a healthcare facility located in Duluth, MN. This 13-week contract offers a comprehensive clinical experience working within a dynamic surgical team. The role involves providing specialized perioperative care, supporting various surgical specialties, and ensuring patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Job Details:

• Location: Duluth, MN
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour variables with start times at 0700-1930, 1100-2330, and 1900-0700; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associate Degree or Certificate; MN RN licensure; minimum of 2+ years of OR experience including experience with General Surgery, circulating responsibilities, robotic surgery, and C-section procedures; proficiency in Orthopedics (including Total Joints), Urology, ENT, General Surgery, OB/GYN; certifications in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); at least 1 recent travel assignment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in General Surgery and circulating, strong robotic surgery skills, proficiency in C-section procedures and multiple surgical specialties
• Additional Information:
  • The contract is for 13 weeks starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
  • Candidates should be resilient, adaptable to change, and socially engaged.
  • Scrub colors will be provided.
  • Orientation week included.
  • The facility utilizes Epic charting software.
  • The assignment includes flexible weekend rotation, typically 2 out of 4 weekends, with holiday coverage as needed.
  • The position is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours.
  • During flu season, vaccination compliance is mandatory; unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times.
