Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in the healthcare provider's facility will be responsible for supporting complex surgical cases, including neuro, ortho, spine, crani, general, ENT, and OMF procedures. The role requires experienced circulating skills, with a preference for scrub experience, and involves working on a rotating schedule of day shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications and Qualifications: Active Maryland or Compact State RN license, BLS certification required; CNOR, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications preferred. Minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with strong skills in neuro, ortho/spine, crani, general (including robotic cases), ENT, and OMF surgeries.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts consisting of 2x8 hours (06:45-15:15) and 2x12 hours (06:45-19:15) shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
- Additional Responsibilities: Experience with robotic devices such as DaVinci Xi & SP systems preferred. Must be comfortable floating within scope as needed and ready for required on-call shifts.
- Patient Population: Supports all age groups from neonates to geriatrics, handling a high volume of 50-60 cases daily across 17 surgical services, including high-acuity cases.
- Operational Requirements: Must have strong circulating experience, preferably with charge or lead RN experience; scrub experience for all case types is preferred. The role involves supporting complex surgical procedures with high technical demands.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have a valid active license and certifications at the time of submission.
