Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care, supporting various surgical procedures within the facility's operating environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical interventions.

Job Details

  • Position includes certification requirements: BLS and CNOR required.
  • Education and experience: Active MD or Compact RN license, minimum of 2 years of OR experience, with at least 1 year of charge experience, and familiarity with Epic charting systems.
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Clinical responsibilities: Support surgeries such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, hysterectomy, and orthopedic procedures; assist with blood and blood products administration; and work within interdisciplinary teams such as IV teams, respiratory, pharmacy, and radiology services.
  • Certifications: Must possess CPI Certificate, most units require compliance with AHA standards for BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
  • Additional requirements: Candidate must be comfortable floating within scope, adhere to on-call schedule with 4 calls per 6-week period, and comply with onboarding, labs, and documentation deadlines.
  • Submittal: Candidate must accept assignment without an interview when offered, with schedule restrictions not guaranteed.
