Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care within the surgical department of the healthcare provider. The RN will support a variety of surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and compliance with clinical protocols.
Job Details
- Position Description: Specialty: Operating Room. Start date: 10/12/2026. Shift: Rotating between 5 days a week with 8-hour and 12-hour shifts. Weekends: Four shifts per six-week schedule. Holiday: Required as scheduled. On-call: Four calls per six-week period with a 1-hour response time.
- Required Qualifications: Active RN license in MD or a Compact State, BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of OR experience, experience with charge nurse responsibilities, charting system experience (Epic preferred), and previous community hospital or LTAC experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma Level I or Level II settings, advanced certifications such as CNOR, and skills in abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, hysterectomy, blood administration, and various surgical procedures.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable with float requirements within scope, process compliance documentation within five days prior to start, and accept schedules without restrictions or special requests. Certification in CPI is required, with online certification accepted.
