  • Position Description: This is an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) position. The role involves providing perioperative nursing care for vascular and plastics surgery cases. Call will be an obligation and required as needed, with weekend call on a rotation basis (averaging 1:5 weekends).
  • Required Qualifications: RN license, at least 2 years of experience in operating room settings, vascular surgery experience (both open and endovascular), plastics surgery experience, and certification in compliance with hospital standards. Additional certifications such as CNOR are preferred.
  • Schedule: Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Call responsibilities include one overnight call shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM for trauma coverage, scheduled per specialty team protocols.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Vascular, general, GU/GYN, trauma, ortho, neurosurgery, ENT, pediatrics, plastics, dental, and endovascular experience are considered an asset.
  • Additional Information: The role requires flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and team collaboration. Scrubs are teal, issued from the hospital. The unit includes 26 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1, equipped with advanced surgical tools such as Storz, Stryker, Olympus, and Intuitive Robot, using the Epic Electronic Medical Record system.
