Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 30, 2026, in Fort Myers, FL. Bring your surgical nursing expertise to a diverse operating room environment while earning $2,555 gross per week on a 40-hour day-shift schedule.
ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,555
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Schedule: 4x10 Days | 40 Hours/Week
Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday
Shift Hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Openings: 1 Position
Weekday Call: Once weekly after a scheduled shift, approximately 2-4 hours
Weekend Call: 1-2 twelve-hour call shifts per month
Floating: Required, including possible assignments at nearby locations
Charting: Epic
Scrubs: Provided
WEEKLY COMPENSATION
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,555
Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,008
Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,547
Taxable Hourly Rate: $25.20/hour
Overtime: After 40 hours per week, subject to applicable law and assignment terms
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
Previous travel nursing experience
Active Florida or Compact RN license
BLS certification
Strong orthopedic and neurological surgical experience
Robotic surgery experience
Epic electronic medical record experience
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment
Availability for weekday and weekend call rotations
Flexibility to float based on staffing needs
Preferred:
ACLS certification
PALS certification
Surgical Experience:
Orthopedic procedures
Neurological surgery
Robotic-assisted procedures
Oncology
Bariatric surgery
Vascular surgery
Trauma surgery
Additional Requirements:
Permanent residence must be outside the 50-mile radius.
Degree accreditation verification or a minimum of 5 years of experience is required, per assignment criteria.
All requested time off must be disclosed before submission.
Candidates must be comfortable with rotating call responsibilities and floating as needed.
