Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Eureka, California. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures within the operating room environment. The position requires a dedicated healthcare professional with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8-hour shift, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 09/08/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California license in hand; Certifications including ACLS, BLS, and PALS; 2 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty; experience with Epic charting system; background in adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patient care; experience with vascular, robotic, and neuro procedures is a plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Well-rounded skillset with experience in vascular, robotic, and neuro surgery procedures.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
  • Additional Information:
    • Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
    • Must include SSN, DOB, and RTO at the time of submission.
    • Return staff policy is 3 months to return as traveler.
    • References required: two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, during the compliance process and prior to start.
    • Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
    • Responsibility for submitting monthly cell phone bills, if applicable.
    • Housing options should be explored in the area as options may be limited.
