Job Details

• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
• Setting: Acute care operating room / surgical services
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour day shifts, typically Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,200–$2,320
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Floating: May float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Call Requirements: Holiday call rotation as needed, plus one weeknight call and one weekend call rotation per month

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2–3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• At least 2–3 previous travel nurse assignments preferred
• Orthopedic OR experience required
• Experience passing arms in and out for robotics required
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Scrubbing experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable working in a high-volume surgical environment
• Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate perioperative nursing care throughout the surgical process
• Circulate a broad range of surgical cases, including general, ENT, orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, pediatric, trauma, and emergent procedures
• Support robotics and hybrid OR procedures as needed
• Assist with charge coverage and case flow when assigned
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members to support excellent patient outcomes
• Adapt to varied shift needs and support additional surgical service lines when needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow unit protocols and standards
