Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse located in Iowa is needed for a?el assignment. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care in a Level I trauma center with the use of advanced surgical equipment including Davinci robots and electronic medical systems. The position offers an opportunity to work across multiple specialties, including trauma, neurology, orthopedics, and robotics.

- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Iowa active or compact/multistate nursing license, 24 months of current operating room experience, experience with EPIC electronic medical systems within the previous 3 years, BLS (AHA) certification, at least 2 years of recent OR experience in hospital or medical center settings including circulating/operating room experience, scrub experience highly preferred, and experience in cases such as general, Davinci Robotics, pediatrics, trauma, neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, ENT, and vascular.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I experience highly preferred, trauma Level II experience required.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36+ hours per week beginning on 10/19/2026, with orientation dates on 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, 11/16.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have completed a travel assignment within the past 15 months; no first-time travelers are accepted. Candidates will float across campuses and work weekends as needed, including 1-2 of the upcoming winter holidays.
