Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Specialist position available in a medical center setting. The role involves scrubbing and circulating during surgical procedures, with a focus on a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant. Candidates must be well-rounded and prepared to support various service lines, including pediatrics and ophthalmology, with experience in a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center setting.
Job Details
- Position Description: Scrubbing and circulating in the operating room, with candidates who can solely circulate also considered. Experience in a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center is required; surgery center style experience is not applicable toward experience counts.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and at least 5 years of experience in surgical services, with extensive experience supporting multiple specialties.
- Schedule: Rotating Days/Nights shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Experience Requirement: 5+ years of relevant OR experience, especially in a Level 1 trauma and academic medical center environment.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be adaptable, capable of floating across hospital departments, and experienced with a broad spectrum of surgical procedures.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates are to be prepared to support all service lines, including pediatrics and ophthalmology, and have extensive OR background for a multi-specialty environment.
