Job Summary
Operating Room Nurse in Morristown. This position involves delivering comprehensive perioperative patient care with a focus on assessment, clinical skills, documentation, and safety procedures tailored to surgical patients across all ages. The role requires collaboration within the perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes throughout the surgical continuum.
Job Details
- Shift Time: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associates or Bachelor's Degree), 1 year experience in perioperative nursing, location in the specified area.
- Preferred Qualifications: CNOR Certification.
- Additional Job Functions: Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures, evaluates pre-admission testing orders, supports timely completion of patient testing, and assesses patient understanding of procedures and instructions.
- Physical Requirements: As defined by Occupational Safety/OM.
- Schedule Notes: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., minimum 36 hours weekly.
