This full-time position involves providing circulating nursing care in a variety of surgical cases, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. The role emphasizes independent practice, clinical competence, and collaboration within a team to support surgical procedures and patient recovery.

Job Details

  • Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, BLS certification, RN License in the state of employment or a compact license, 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty, and a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Schedule: 11:00 AM 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities: Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitor side effects, document patient information, and educate patients and families.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience in the relevant nursing specialty preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS required.
  • Additional Information: The position involves on-call duties 1-2 times per week and every 3rd weekend. Floating between campuses may be required, particularly within OR settings. The role supports complex and routine surgical cases across multiple specialties including orthopedic, podiatry, hand, spine/crani, general, and urology.
