Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse – Day Shift

  • Schedule: Variable Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 06:30 – 19:00 (or 09:00 – 21:30) | 36 Hours Per Week
    • Scheduling Details: Shifts determined by unit operational needs; no block scheduling guaranteed.
    • Orientation Requirement: Candidate must be physically present in-state for orientation week, even if initial modules are remote.
  • On-Call Protocol [HARDSTOP]: Standby call required averaging ~120 call hours per 13-week contract (includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays).
    • Call Response Time [HARDSTOP]: Must maintain a strict 30-minute callback response time.
  • Floating Protocol: Floating required only in cases of extreme operational need within regional network campuses.
  • Candidate Eligibility & System Separation Rules [HARDSTOP]:
    • Radius Rule: Local candidates residing within 60 miles are strictly ineligible (Driver's License required at submission to verify address).

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated intraoperative Operating Room RN circulating experience.
  • Clinical Modality Mandates [HARDSTOP]:
    • Direct hands-on circulating experience in Trauma surgical procedures [HARDSTOP].
    • Direct hands-on circulating experience in Neuro surgical procedures [HARDSTOP].
  • Scrubbing Requirement: RN scrubbing is not required (dedicated Surgical Techs on shift).
  • EMR Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical documentation experience in Epic EMR is mandatory.
  • Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active State RN License or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License (License to submit accepted if eligible).
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
  • Submission Administrative Profile Requirements: Driver’s license uploaded at submission to verify permanent address >60 miles.
