Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact licensure eligible
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Operating Room RN or surgical nursing experience
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, sterile technique, and surgical safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operating room environment
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable supporting both routine and complex surgical cases

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team with operating room preparation, instrument handling, and patient positioning
• Maintain sterile field practices and follow all safety protocols to support quality patient care
• Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process and respond to changes as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow clinical staff to support high-quality surgical outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and promptly according to clinical and facility standards
• Support a safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical services workflow
