Operating Room (OR) Nurse specializing in surgical procedures, available in the designated geographic area. This position involves providing high-quality perioperative care within a Level I trauma center, supporting a busy surgical unit with a focus on general, trauma, and specialized cases.

Job Details

  • Certifications: BLS, CNOR*
  • Education Requirements: Active Illinois nursing license (or in application process), minimum 3 years of OR experience required
  • Location Requirements: Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with shifts occurring from 6:45 AM to 6:15 PM

  • Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience, previous Level I trauma experience
  • Additional Information: Will work with all service lines except cardiovascular. On-call requirement once weekly, typically minimal frequency. No float requirement unless scope of practice allows. No open to accommodating block schedule.
