Job Summary:
The Organization is seeking a highly experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the OR specialty. This position involves independent functioning across multiple surgical specialties, including robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma. The role requires proficiency with robotic surgical systems and the ability to manage diverse surgical procedures within a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
- Position Description: Pre-Screen Unit Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit. Once approved and within Wellspan guidelines, candidates will proceed to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be conducted on a case-by-case basis.
- Required Qualifications: Active AHA or ARC certification, minimum of 3 years of relevant OR experience including Level II trauma or higher, previous travel experience, and proficiency with the Da Vinci Xi robotic system and general OR specialties. Valid RN license is required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology surgeries. Knowledge of EPIC charting system preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidate must be able to function independently in all specified specialties, including robotics, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and trauma. Must be able to care for COVID-19 patients. Must notify prior to submission if tobacco or fragrance free environment is required.
- Submission Requirements: No license hits are accepted; candidate must hold a PA RN license.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
