Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Overlook. This position involves delivering high-quality perioperative care for surgical patients, supporting all phases of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative processes. The role requires assessment, clinical skills, documentation, and a focus on patient safety and satisfaction to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Provides comprehensive perioperative nursing care, demonstrating assessment skills and clinical proficiency for surgical patients across various procedures including neuro, spine, total joint, and robotic surgeries. Performs direct patient care activities supporting the surgical team.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred. Valid RN license. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a surgical or perioperative setting.
• Schedule: Shift is days from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be able to scrub and circulate on robotics, ortho, neuro, or general surgeries. The RN will need to scrub on at least one of the following: neuro spine, total joint, or robotic procedures. Support pre-operative and post-operative assessments, evaluate pre-admission testing orders, and participate in patient education. Maintain competency in emergency equipment operation and ensure documentation is complete and accurate.
