Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 12-hour night shift position requiring 2+ years of OR experience across a wide variety of surgical specialties.

Details

  • Work in a 15-OR surgical suite plus a hybrid room shared with Cath Lab, averaging 45 cases/day between OR and CVOR
  • Case mix includes General, GYN, Urology, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Thoracic, Robotics (Davinci), and Trauma, excluding transplants
  • 3 12-hour night shifts per week (1830-0700)
  • On-call requirement of 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend (Saturday/Sunday) every 4 weeks
  • No floating required
  • Uses Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, cell saver, Belmont rapid infuser, glucometer, and Davinci robotics

Requirements

  • Active RN license (MT state or compact) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required
  • Experience with the specific surgical specialties listed required

Additional Information

  • Supported by a department team including Charge RN, staff nurses, CNAs, and CSTs
  • First week of orientation paired with a preceptor, including unit orientation with Educator across General, Ortho, and Neuro services
  • Weekend rotation required for posted weekend needs
  • Holiday coverage expected approximately 50% of the time, potentially more based on need
  • RTO must be approved by the Manager in advance
  • Scrubs provided
  • Free and paid parking options available
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
