Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a community hospital setting. This position involves providing perioperative patient care during surgical procedures of varying complexity. The role requires proficiency in scrub and circulating duties, with flexibility for shifts and on-call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Education Requirements: Valid state license; Compact license must be in hand at submission
- Years of Experience: 2 years minimum required
- Location Requirements: Must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, minimum of 40 hours per week; start date 11/09/2026, end date 02/08/2027
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system, proficiency in scrub and circulating roles, and prior OR experience with a variety of surgical procedures including general, ENT, neuro/spine, OB/GYN, ortho, plastics, vascular, and more
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to take call, work holidays, and rotate between sister facilities if necessary. Candidates should have at least 1 year of previous perioperative experience, valid compact license, and be able to scrub proficiently in diverse surgical procedures. References covering recent 1-year period are required.
