• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: 8-hour day shifts; 5x8 or 4x10 schedule options
• Schedule Notes: Monday through Friday with call coverage on 2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000 - $2,100
• Charting System: Epic
• Med System: Omnicell
• Orientation: On-unit orientation with virtual education and approximately 1 week of unit onboarding

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience supporting a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, GI, urology, pediatric dental, and surgical oncology
• Ability to work a weekday day-shift schedule with scheduled call coverage
• Compliance with facility onboarding requirements, including flu vaccination and fingerprinting timelines
• Comfort working in a fast-paced surgical services environment with high case volume

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care for patients in the operating room
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative team members to support smooth surgical flow
• Assist with circulating responsibilities as needed within the OR
• Prepare patients and the surgical environment to support quality outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical workflows
• Respond to call coverage as scheduled to support surgical services
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on patient safety, excellence, and quality care
