Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room nursing experience required
- Strong broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines
- Experience in general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma preferred
- Ability to work variable shifts and participate in call coverage
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical setting
- Ability to adapt to changing case volume and patient needs
- Experience as a travel nurse or surgical RN is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Assist with a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Support surgeons, anesthesiology, and the perioperative team to ensure smooth case flow
- Monitor patients throughout the surgical process and maintain a high standard of care
- Prepare the OR for procedures, including equipment and supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established clinical protocols
- Respond to changing surgical demands while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Contribute to a collaborative healthcare team focused on excellent patient outcomes
