Job Summary:
Operating Room Nurse in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role involves the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care within the perioperative services environment. The nurse will act as a patient advocate, ensure adherence to surgical standards of nursing practice, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications, Certifications, Education, and Experience: Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license; 1 year of relevant experience preferred, but not required
  • Specialty: Operating Room
  • Position Responsibilities:
    • Participates in age-specific care and interaction, including pediatric and geriatric populations
    • Attends departmental orientation and implements age-specific training
    • Collaborates with healthcare team members (RN, LPN, NA, Physician, ancillary disciplines) in patient/family assessment
    • Performs head-to-toe assessments and reassessments as per policy
    • Adequately assesses and manages pain utilizing appropriate techniques
    • Develops and implements total nursing care plans based on assessment and diagnosis
    • Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in a clinical setting
