Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care operating room setting with competencies across various specialties, including general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, and gynecology.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On-call requirements: Two late calls until 11 PM per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend

Operating Room Details

• Number of Operating Rooms: 12
• Type of Trauma Center: Level 3

Requirements

• Active SC or Multi State/Compact RN license
• BLS Certification required
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; not supplied by the facility
• Travelers should be aware of hurricane season, during which all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams (June to November)

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Charting system: Epic
• No local travelers accepted; a radius rule of 60 miles applies
• Guaranteed hours: The facility may call off 1 shift every 2 weeks

Block Schedule

Open to accommodating a block schedule upon managerial approval, based on the unit's needs.
