Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience
  • Function in scrub and/or circulating roles within the operating room environment
  • Support surgical teams during orthopedic, total joint, arthroscopic, and neurological procedures
  • Monitor patient safety, maintain sterile technique, and adhere to facility protocols
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to ensure efficient surgical workflow

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license in the state of Georgia or compact eligibility
  • Minimum 18 months of Operating Room nursing experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with orthopedic, total joint, arthroscopic, and neurosurgical cases
  • BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience in a high-volume acute care surgical setting
  • Familiarity with a wide range of surgical specialties beyond core requirements
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced OR environment
