Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is focused on providing high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Schedule

  • Night Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts
  • Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday, 18:30 - 06:30

Experience Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following specialties:

  • ENT (including tracheostomy/airways, head and neck flaps, ear procedures, and soft tissue cases)
  • Neuro (including burr holes and craniotomies)
  • Surgical Oncology (including robotics)

Preferred Experience

  • Level I trauma experience is preferred

License and Certification Requirements

  • Active RN license in Kansas or Compact RN license
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will:

  • Provide patient care across all operating rooms
  • Support preoperative and postoperative patient care
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective outcomes

Floating Requirements

The RN will be required to float to all operating rooms as necessary.

Weekend Requirements

There are no weekend shifts required for this position.

On-Call Requirements

This position does not require on-call duty during the night shifts.

Holiday Requirements

Holidays are not required. In the event a holiday coincides with a scheduled workday, subsequent pay periods will reflect a reduction in holiday pay hours.

Graduate Consideration

This position is not open to new graduates.

Orientation

  • In-person orientation is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
  • Bi-weekly nursing orientation and EPIC training are available Wednesday through Friday.

Additional Notes

  • This is a nicotine-free facility.
  • Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
  • Orientation hours are paid for a duration of 8 hours.
  • Each month, there is allowance for 2 cancellations with a minimum of 2 hours notice.
