Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position primarily involves providing patient care in the operating room setting while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients throughout their surgical experience.

Schedule

  • Shift: 3x12-hour nights (18:30 - 07:00)
  • Weekend Requirement: Yes, likely only Friday nights
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Block Scheduling: Available at manager's discretion

Qualifications

  • Valid SC/Compact Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting
  • At least 2 prior traveler contracts
  • Preferred experience in pediatric and/or women’s surgery
  • First-time travelers not accepted
  • Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius

Additional Information

  • All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.
  • Guaranteed hours: Travelers may be called off for up to 10 hours per 2-week period.
  • Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June to November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.
  • A radiation badge will be provided by the parent company.
