Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse, Nashville, TN This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a high-volume surgical environment. The role supports complex procedures including neurosurgery, orthopedics, robotics, and various other surgical specialties, utilizing advanced technology and equipment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Position Description: The healthcare provider will work in a well-equipped OR unit with 20 beds, performing surgical procedures across multiple specialties such as neurosurgery, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more.
- Required Qualifications: CPR/BLS certification; Tennessee or compact state registered nurse licensure; minimum 1 year of multi-year OR experience in the current role.
- Preferred Qualifications: Endovascular experience; DaVinci robotics experience; Meditech charting experience.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, a minimum of 40 hours per week, with call shifts as needed (no more than 1 per week).
- Additional Information: Experience with DaVinci Xi robots, Mazor robots, and Stealth Navigation is preferred. The role includes supporting advanced procedures such as robotic bariatric surgery, vascular surgery, and endovascular surgery. Candidates should be familiar with hospital policies, unit-specific guidelines, and dress code requirements.
