Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience required
  • Operating room circulating experience required
  • Experience with neuro cases, including craniotomies and VP shunts
  • Orthopedic surgical experience and airway emergency response experience strongly preferred
  • BLS and PALS required
  • Washington state RN license or Compact RN license accepted
  • CNOR preferred
  • Epic experience preferred
  • Pediatric OR experience strongly preferred; strong neuro/ortho OR experience may be considered

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in a busy operating room environment
  • Circulate for a variety of surgical specialties, including ortho/spine, neuro, ENT, plastics, oral, and cardiac cases
  • Support pediatric surgical patients as well as neonates, adolescents, adults, and other complex patient populations
  • Assist with high-acuity procedures and respond confidently to airway emergencies
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary support teams to ensure efficient OR workflow
  • Maintain strong communication, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical setting
