Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. This role involves working in an acute care setting, providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Shift Details

  • Work schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts
  • Weekend requirements: Typically every 4th weekend, depending on staffing needs, with weekday coverage as needed
  • On-call requirements: Yes, with call hours from 3 PM to 7 AM, based on call rotation with staff
  • Potential for floating to meet facility needs

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse
  • South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

  • Open to accommodating block schedule requests, though not guaranteed
  • Local candidates may be accepted on a case-by-case basis
  • All time-off requests must be included at the time of submission; approval is based on facility needs
  • Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks
