Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Experience supporting surgical cases in a busy OR or perioperative setting
- Strong clinical judgment in a detail-driven, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to participate in on-call coverage as needed
- Comfort working with surgical technology and standard operating room workflows
- Preferred experience with neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, or orthopedics
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient needs as assigned
- Maintain sterile technique and support surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR team members to support efficient case flow
- Prepare and manage surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Support a patient-centered environment with strong attention to safety and detail
- Participate in call coverage and respond to unit needs as scheduled
- Contribute to a positive, professional culture within the surgical services team
