The role involves supporting cardiovascular (open-heart) procedures and general operating room activities, with an emphasis on EPIC charting experience.

Job Details

  • Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a schedule of 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Education/Skills: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related nursing experience preferred; CVOR and EPIC charting experience required, with at least two years in cardiovascular (open-heart) surgery.
  • Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: BLS (AHA) required; RN license in the state of Texas or a compact license.
  • Responsibilities include practicing independently, providing routine and complex care, administering medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, documenting patient information, and assessing learning needs for patients and their families.
  • Support for general operating room procedures as needed.
  • Schedule: Weekend shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
  • Submission: Candidates are to disclose RTO upfront before an offer.
