Compensation & Schedule Details

  • Hours & Shift: Day shift (0630–1630, 36 guaranteed hours per week). Assignment length: 13 weeks. Target start date: October 26, 2026 or later (must not start earlier than 10/26).
  • Call & Weekend Requirements: Weekend call rotation every 4 weeks. Call is utilized to fill evening/night staffing holes Monday–Thursday and is evenly distributed (typical call shifts range from 2 to 12 hours, capped at roughly 60 total combined work and call hours per week).

Key Facility Policies & Unit Scope

  • Unit Overview: Main OR on the 2nd floor featuring 13 operating rooms, supported by 25 RNs and 29 CSTs. Patient volume averages 50 hours of surgical time Monday–Friday.
  • Chart System & Standards: EMR via Meditech. Dress code follows AORN standards.
  • Procedure Scope: Broad surgical services including high-acuity burn care (wound debridement, skin grafting), neuro (craniotomies, spinal fusions), open heart (CABG), orthopedics (trauma, total joints), robotics (gyn, general, urology), and multi-specialty trauma cases.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of operating room experience required, along with prior trauma experience and shift/call flexibility. CNOR, burn, robotic, and neuro experience are strongly preferred.
  • Licensure:Active Idaho (ID) RN license is strictly required at the time of submission.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS required at submittal.
