Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Unknown. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a surgical environment within the organizations operating unit. The role requires the ability to circulate and scrub for general and eye surgeries, with on-call responsibilities including weekend and holiday rotations.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Epic experience, and at least 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience. Must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or above on the first day and be able to submit a documented eye circulation experience, including at least one recent reference.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in scrub nursing for general and eye surgeries.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should submit an updated resume with documented eye circulation experience, current references from within the past year, and an updated skills checklist. The candidate must be within a 30-minute drive of the hospital and available for on-call rotations including weekends and holidays. Orientation is not provided on Mondays. Credential submissions are due Thursday before the start date. The start date is September 13, 2026, with the assignment ending on November 8, 2026.
