• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) with call and holiday coverage
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
• Float Requirement: May be asked to float between campuses as needed
• Clearance: AHCA fingerprinting clearance required prior to start

Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Strong knowledge of perioperative workflows, surgical nursing, and sterile technique
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and support a collaborative OR team
• Availability for call, holiday coverage, and float expectations

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Operating Room
• Assist with surgical cases across general surgery, urology, spine, GYN, orthopedics, plastics, breast, and robotics service lines
• Prepare the OR by ensuring supplies are available and cases run efficiently and on time
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other perioperative team members
• Support patient and family communication before, during, and after procedures
• Scrub and assist during surgical cases as needed
• Update physician preference cards and help maintain clinical readiness
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care in accordance with standards and policies
• Use critical thinking and clinical judgment to anticipate patient and team needs
