Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility in the area. This position requires the delivery of high-quality patient care in a surgical environment, supporting multiple service lines including General, Urology, Spine, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Breasts, and Robotics. The role involves collaboration with surgical teams, ensuring surgical case support, and floating between campuses as needed.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Valid certification(s) including ACLS, BLS, and PALS; two or more years of clinical experience in a surgical or operating room setting; service line experience including General, Urology, Spine, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Breasts, and Robotics; ability to float between campuses as needed; AHCA fingerprinting clearance required prior to start.
- Additional Information: The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills necessary for patient care in the surgical environment. Responsibilities include preparing supplies, case coordination, communication with families, assisting physicians during surgeries, updating surgeon preference cards, and supervising personnel involved in patient care. Flexibility to float across different units is expected in this role.
