Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Outpatient Surgery settings including PreOp, PostOp, and PACU across a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Support a variety of surgical specialties including retina surgery, total hip/knee replacement, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and podiatry
• Initiate IVs and demonstrate familiarity with conscious sedation, general anesthesia, and local anesthesia
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 within a 5-room unit with an average daily census of 10–18 patients
• Document and manage patient care using Epic and Pyxis
• Float across all divisions of Outpatient Surgery as needed; may be expected to remain on shift based on room census at end of day per unit protocol

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a valid Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within required deadlines to avoid start date delays
• All requested time off (maximum 7 days per contract) must be finalized at time of submission; no RTO or schedule requests can be made post-offer or on-site, and no RTO is permitted during orientation week

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a multi-specialty outpatient or ambulatory surgery environment
• Familiarity with PreOp, PostOp, and PACU workflows
• Proficiency with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
