Job Opportunity – Perioperative Registered Nurse – Colorado
Start Date: September 7, 2026
Location: Lamar, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday with occasional extended hours to complete surgical caseloads. Rotational call coverage 1-2 weekdays per week and every 2nd or 3rd weekend, depending on staffing levels. Holiday rotation required.

- Work across three perioperative areas: Pre-op, OR/Circulator, and PACU in a versatile clinical role
- Surgical case mix includes General Surgery, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology (cataract procedures), and Orthopedics (1-2x monthly)
- 3 operating room suites with dedicated pre-op and PACU areas
- Function as primary caregiver with autonomy and direct patient impact throughout the surgical continuum
- Collaborative environment with rotational call shared among circulating staff
- Adherence to national standards through IAHCSMM, AORN, ASGE, and ASPAN
Requirements:
- Active and current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Pre-op, OR/Circulator, and PACU settings (experience in all three areas required)
- ACLS certification required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Scrub experience preferred
- Ability to perform effectively in highly stressful situations with excellent communication skills
- Physical capability for long periods of standing, walking, and heavy lifting
