Schedule: Rotating 8-Hour Day Shifts | Monday – Friday (40 Hours/Week)
On-Call Requirements: Late-shift call rotation & every 4th weekend call

Position Overview
Urgent need for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join their surgical services team in Crookston, MN. Serving northwestern Minnesota. Facility offers a broad procedural mix across general, orthopedic, and specialized surgical disciplines. The OR RN circulates and/or scrubs a wide variety of surgical cases, ensuring patient safety, sterile field maintenance, and optimal perioperative outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perioperative Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative circulating, and patient advocacy.
• Surgical Case Management: Maintain strict aseptic technique and assist surgical teams across diverse procedures, including:
o General & Specialized Surgery: Open and laparoscopic general procedures, spine, and podiatry.
o Orthopedics: Total joint replacements and orthopedic sports medicine.
o OB/GYN & Cardiac: OB/GYN surgeries (including C-sections) and cardiac pacemaker insertions.
o Endoscopy & Pain Management: Upper/lower endoscopies and pain management interventions.
• On-Call Responsibilities: Participate in late-shift call rotation and every 4th weekend call coverage to support emergency and urgent surgical cases.
• Safety & Collaboration: Partner closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to uphold patient safety, equipment readiness, and infection control standards.
Position Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements
• RN Licensure: Active Minnesota RN License or active Compact / Multi-State Nursing License.
• Experience: Minimum 1+ year of recent intra-operative OR experience in an acute care or surgery center setting.
• Core Certifications:
o BLS: Active Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
o ACLS: Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
o PALS: Active Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications
• Broad Specialty Exposure: Experience scrubbing and/or circulating total joint orthopedics, spine, and C-sections.
• Facility Experience: Prior travel nursing or critical access/community hospital OR experience.
• Advanced Certification: CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) is a plus.
