Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (AHA), ACLS preferred
  • Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of OR nursing experience, previous travel experience preferred
  • Other Requirements: Active Colorado nursing license, ability to work days shift, strong communication skills, ability to float within zone as needed

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to preoperative and intraoperative patients in the CVOR department, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and assist with open heart, TAVR, thoracic, and endovascular procedures, adhering to sterile protocol and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient procedures and charting within the EPIC system, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
  • Monitor patient condition continuously, responding swiftly to any intraoperative changes or emergencies.
  • Assist in floating to General OR or PRN cases as needed, supporting the broader surgical team with flexibility and professionalism.
