Key Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
Operate and assist with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system, functioning independently without need for refresher training
Fulfill on-call obligations within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time required
Work weekend shifts as scheduled within a 6-week matrix; weekend shifts may be days, evenings, or nights
Work holidays as needed; holiday shifts may be days, evenings, or nights — travelers are expected to work 2 of 3 major holidays
Float as needed and may care for patients with infectious conditions including COVID-19
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with no license hits (hard stop); must hold or be eligible for Pennsylvania RN licensure
Minimum 3 years of Operating Room experience
Level I Trauma experience required
Previous travel nursing experience required
Proficiency with Da Vinci Xi robotic system — must be able to function independently across robotic general, GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
BLS certification through AHA or ARC only
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
Familiarity with the Da Vinci 5 (DV5) robotic system in addition to the Da Vinci Xi
EPIC electronic health records experience strongly preferred
Ability to function independently across all listed surgical specialties without additional orientation
Comfort managing requested time off within a maximum of 7 days per contract
