Key Responsibilities
Scrub and circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties including Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
Operate and support procedures utilizing the DaVinci Xi robotic system; familiarity with DaVinci 5 (DV5) is a plus
Fulfill on-call obligations as scheduled within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time required
Participate in weekend shifts (days, evenings, or nights) and holiday coverage as needed within the 6-week matrix
Float to other areas as needed and provide care in compliance with facility infection control standards, including potential care of COVID-positive patients
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with no license violations accepted
Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience
Level I Trauma experience required (minimum Level II with more than 1 year of experience considered)
Previous travel nursing experience required
Proficiency with the DaVinci Xi robotic system — must be able to function independently with no need for refresher training
BLS certification through AHA or ARC only
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
Familiarity with the DaVinci 5 (DV5) robotic system
Experience with robotic GYN, thoracic, and urology specialties
EPIC electronic health records experience strongly preferred
Ability to scrub and circulate proficiently across all listed surgical specialties
