Key Responsibilities
Perform both scrub and circulator roles across a high-volume operating room environment with 17 rooms and approximately 45 cases
Provide perioperative nursing care with a focus on neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, and/or robotic surgical procedures
Utilize facility systems including EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR for documentation and communication
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout all phases of the operative experience
Participate in unit staff meetings and maintain communication board standards
Required Qualifications
Active RN license – NC state or Compact license required
Minimum 2 years of recent, acute Operating Room experience (must not have been out of the acute OR setting for more than 6 months)
Must be proficient in both scrub and circulator roles
Strong experience in at least 2 of the following specialties: neuro spine, ortho spine, vascular, or robotics
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Must not be currently serving in a management role as most recent position
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience preferred; candidates without travel experience may still be considered
Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
Experience in urology, oncology GYN, or additional surgical subspecialties is a plus
